Valmorel
Just
before Moutiers and so a good choice for self-drive and Eurostar clients, Valmorel
is excellent for adult and child beginners, and intermediate skiers on a budget.
Purpose-built but in a low level, alpine style, it combines village charm with
doorstep skiing and links to other villages in the circuit. Unusually adult and
child beginners benefit from enclosed nursery slopes, away from other skiers and
boarders. Places in the excellent Saperlipopette nursery (6mths to 8yrs) are highly
sought after.
